Hi, I'm Tom Langridge
The builder, the father, the thinker. Cofounder of Fast.io and MediaFire.com and helping 100M+ people share their work every month.

About Me
I'm Tom Langridge, a serial entrepreneur with a unique journey from neuroscience to tech. After studying Neurology, Physiology, and Behavior at UC Davis, I co-founded MediaFire.com in 2006, growing it into one of the world's top file-sharing platforms. Along the way, I launched IntoMobile, led design for FileFront.com (acquired), and most recently co-founded Fast.io, reimagining cloud storage for teams.
Based in Austin, Texas, I'm passionate about building products that solve real problems. My approach combines scientific thinking with user-centered design to create experiences that help millions share their work. I believe in building in public and sharing both successes and failures along the way.

My Journey
From neuroscience studies to founding multiple successful tech companies, here's a look at my professional path and the milestones along the way.
Activities and societies: Alpha Kappa Psi, EMRAP, SPAC. Studied neuroscience and human physiology, building a foundation in scientific thinking and research methodologies.
Co-founded the most trafficked news blog covering mobile phones and technology with 3.5+ million unique visitors per month. Helped pivot business strategy and created multiple UX designs including WordPress templates and custom database pages.
Oversee all MediaFire product development efforts, helping grow the service from launch to one of the top 100 websites in the world. Roles include lead UX designer, product development, business development, and corporate communications.
Led a full-site redesign for the relaunch of FileFront.com (now GameFront.com) after it was reacquired from ZiffDavis by its original founders. The redesign helped return the property to profitability, later resulting in its acquisition by BreakMedia.
Building a radical rethinking of cloud storage for teams. Fast.io replaces individual-centric folders with project-based Workspaces, simplifying security and leveraging AI to extract metadata, generate summaries, and structure content for intelligent accessibility.
